AI Life Care Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AI Life Care (the “App”) accesses, collects, uses, stores, and shares information. The App is provided by Geeklink Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
AI Life Care lets users create an account, manage homes and members, discover and configure Bluetooth Mesh and local-network smart devices, operate those devices, and create rooms, scenes, groups, and automations.
1. Information We Process
Account and profile information
When you register, sign in, recover an account, or update your profile, we may process your mobile phone number or email address, verification code, encrypted password, authentication session information, nickname, profile photo, preferred language, country or region, and an external sign-in identifier when an external sign-in method is available and you choose to use it.
App, device, and network information
We process information needed to operate and secure the App, including App version, device manufacturer and model, operating system and version, network connection status, IP address, request time, and related connection or error information. We do not use an advertising identifier for advertising and do not collect an IMEI through the App.
Smart-home and device information
To provide smart-home features and synchronize them across your authorized devices, we process information such as home and room names, home membership and invitations, member notes, smart-device names, types, identifiers and network addresses, device configuration and status, firmware information, remote-control settings, scenes, groups, schedules, triggers, automations, and operation or synchronization records. Some device identifiers may include a Bluetooth address, Wi-Fi MAC address, device serial value, or another identifier assigned to a smart device. These are identifiers of your smart-home products, not advertising identifiers for your phone.
Bluetooth, local network, Wi-Fi, and location-related information
The App uses Bluetooth and the local network to discover, configure, connect to, and control nearby smart devices. During these operations, it may process Bluetooth advertisements, device names and identifiers, local IP addresses, and local-network connection information.
On some Android versions, the operating system requires location permission to scan for Bluetooth devices. Android and iOS may also require location permission to read the name (SSID) of the Wi-Fi network currently connected to your phone. The App uses this permission for device discovery and Wi-Fi setup. The App does not request background location and does not use this permission to collect your precise GPS coordinates.
If you use the weather feature, the weather service uses your network IP address to estimate an approximate location, such as a city, and returns weather information for that area.
Wi-Fi credentials used for device setup
When you configure a compatible smart device, you may enter or select a Wi-Fi SSID and password. These credentials are sent to the smart device you choose to configure. If you choose to save them for later setup, the App stores them in encrypted storage on your phone. This device-setup feature does not upload the Wi-Fi password to our account servers. You can remove saved Wi-Fi credentials from the App.
Camera, QR codes, and profile photos
With your permission, the App uses the camera to scan invitation or device QR codes and to take a profile photo. QR-code image frames and scan results are processed on the device and are not uploaded by the scanning feature. If you select or take a profile photo and confirm the upload, the photo is uploaded and stored so it can be displayed as your account avatar.
Diagnostics
The App creates local diagnostic and crash records that may include the App version, operating system version, device model, timestamps, error messages, stack traces, and technical protocol or network events. These files remain on your device unless you deliberately use the system share function to send them to a recipient you select. You can delete these records in the App.
On Android, the Google ML Kit barcode-scanning library may send Google limited App and device information, a per-installation identifier, performance metrics, API configuration, feature-use events, and error codes for diagnostics, usage analytics, maintenance, and abuse prevention. QR-code images and decoded contents are processed on the device and are not sent to Google by ML Kit.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- register and authenticate accounts and maintain account security;
- provide, synchronize, and restore homes, rooms, devices, members, scenes, and automations;
- discover, configure, connect to, and control smart devices;
- support home invitations and sharing with people you authorize;
- provide profile-photo, weather, firmware, remote-control, and App-update features;
- diagnose failures, maintain compatibility, secure the service, and prevent misuse;
- respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests; and
- comply with applicable law and enforce our legal rights.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising, and the App does not contain an advertising SDK.
3. When Information Is Shared
We share information only as described below.
| Recipient or category | Information and purpose |
|---|---|
| Authorized home members | Home, room, member, smart-device, scene, and automation information is made available to members you invite or authorize so that shared-home features work. |
| Qiniu Cloud | If you upload a profile photo, the photo and technical upload information, such as IP address and request metadata, are processed for media upload, storage, and delivery. |
| Seniverse weather service | When the weather feature is used, IP address, requested language, and request metadata are processed to estimate an approximate area and return weather data. |
| Google ML Kit | Limited App, device, installation, performance, configuration, feature-use, and error information may be processed for barcode-scanning diagnostics and usage analytics. Camera frames and decoded QR contents remain on the device. |
| Hosting and technical service providers | Providers acting for us may process account, smart-home, network, and technical data only as needed to host, transmit, secure, maintain, or support the service. |
| Authorities or other parties required by law | We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate fraud or security incidents, or protect legal rights. |
If our business or service is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of assets, information may be transferred subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection requirements.
4. Permissions and Your Choices
| Permission | Why it is used | What happens if denied |
|---|---|---|
| Nearby devices / Bluetooth | Discover, configure, connect to, and control Bluetooth Mesh devices. | Nearby-device discovery and Bluetooth control will not work. |
| Local network | Discover and communicate with smart devices on the same local network. | Local-network discovery and control may not work. |
| Location while using the App | Meet operating-system requirements for Bluetooth scanning and reading the current Wi-Fi SSID. | Bluetooth discovery on older Android versions or automatic Wi-Fi-name detection may not work. |
| Camera | Scan invitation and device QR codes, or take a profile photo. | You can use manual entry where offered, but scanning and taking a new profile photo will not work. |
You can change permissions at any time in your device settings. Some features cannot operate without the permission required for that feature.
5. Storage and Security
Account credentials, authentication information, Wi-Fi credentials, and Bluetooth Mesh security material are protected using platform security features such as the Android Keystore or iOS Keychain and encrypted local storage where applicable. The App encrypts passwords before transmission, uses HTTPS for supported web services, masks common secret fields in diagnostic output, and applies access controls and other reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
No transmission or storage system is completely secure. You should protect your account password, phone, local network, and smart devices from unauthorized access.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Account, profile, home, member, device, and automation data is retained while your account remains active and as needed to provide the features you request.
- Locally stored data remains on your phone until it is removed in the App, cleared by the operating system, removed when you delete your account, or deleted when you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App, depending on the data type and platform.
- Local crash-history storage is automatically limited to the most recent 30 files and a total of approximately 3 MB. You can also delete diagnostic files in the App.
- Server security and operational records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, legal compliance, or dispute resolution, based on the nature of the record and applicable requirements.
- When an account-deletion request is successfully completed, we delete or irreversibly anonymize the account and personal data associated with it, including linked cloud smart-home data, unless limited information must be retained for a legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution obligation. Any required retained information is isolated, access-restricted, and deleted when that obligation ends. Residual copies are removed through normal backup-rotation cycles.
How to delete your account
You may request permanent account deletion in either of these ways:
- In the App, open More > Account > Delete account, review the warning, and confirm the deletion request.
- Use the external AI Life Care account-deletion portal and complete the required account verification.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be replaced by temporary deactivation. After deletion is completed, you will lose access to the account and associated data.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, and to receive a portable copy where applicable. You may update supported profile information in the App, remove saved Wi-Fi credentials and local diagnostic files, revoke permissions in system settings, or delete your account using the methods above.

The App is intended for adults who manage smart-home devices and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without legally required authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, please contact us so that we can investigate and delete it where required.
9. International Processing
Depending on your location and the service providers used, information may be processed in a country or region other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers and protect information as described in this Privacy Policy.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
